Sam Creyton's wonderful exhibition of 100 small constructed and reconstructed works in mixed media can be seen at the Cairns Regional Gallery until 20 March.
These works have a strong sense of design with an implied narrative that leaves space for interpretation. |

4. Nicola Moss shortlisted for Albany Art Prize |

Nicola Moss' painting - No Return Address - is one of thirty finalists selected for the 2011 City of Albany Art Prize. The exhibition will be on view at the Vancouver Art Centre (85 Vancouver St, Albany, Western Australia) from 8 April to 1 May. Nicola has also joined Anita Traverso Gallery (7 Albert St, Richmond) in Melbourne. A couple of hand cut paperworks can be seen in their current group exhibition. |

8. David Hinchliffe set for April NYC shows |

David Hinchliffe has two exhibitions set for New York next month.
The first - Deluge - is in support of the Qld Disaster Relief Fund and opens at the Australian Consulate (150 East 42nd St) on 6 April.
It is then followed by a solo exhibition - New York Streets - at Michael Ingbar Gallery (568 Broadway - at Prince St, Soho) which opens on 8 April. |

9. Judith Kentish shows Maatsuyker Island drawing |
Judith Kentish is part of a Jill Barker curated exhibition called DRAWLING which opens at The Brisbane Institute of Art (41 Grafton Street, Windsor, Queensland) on Saturday 12 March, 4 -6 pm.
Kentish will exhibit "from ideas of disturbance" a monumental work on paper completed during her recent residency on Maatsuyker Island, a remote lighthouse island off the coast of Tasmania. |
