1. Nicola Moss exhibition at SGAR |
Nicola Moss's upcoming exhibition - Site Lines - features hand cut paperworks inspired during site visits to coastal environments of Moreton Bay Islands. Signature elements of ochre stained, charcoal rubbed and sand burnished papers incorporate textures of place in the layered artworks. 2. David Henderson at Graydon Gallery |

5. Lyndal Hargrave a finalist in Powerhouse show |
Lyndal Hargrave's wall mounted sculpture - Sacred Geometry - has been selected from over 700 international entries for the Love Lace exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum (500 Harris Street, Ultimo, NSW) which is now on until 29 April 2012.
Lyndal has also been commissioned by Sydney City to submit a design concept for a large scale sculptural facade for an inner city building refurbishment project. |

6. Dave Groom returns for Grammar's Momentum |
Dave Groom is the guest artist for this year's Brisbane Grammar Art Show - Momentum. Dave Groom, who is a Grammar 'Old Boy', will return to school to exhibit his most recent paintings and pastels with the steamy, wet start to the year an inspiration for this latest body of work.
Momentum is open to the public Saturday 20 August (10am-3pm) and is part of the Brisbane Grammar Open Day. |

8. Drawn to India |
Catherine Parker is currently organising Drawn To India, Rajasthan Artist Study Trip which takes place on 3 October – 5 November 2011.
The two week tour visits traditional artisans from potters to weavers to woodblock printers with each day designed with specific art-making and cultural activities. It also coincides with the Festival of Diwali, one of the most celebrated festivals on the Indian calendar. Space is limited to 10 people. |

9. Aria Stone raising funds for partner |
Aria Stone is currently raising funds to help her partner, Tony Dibley, who is dealing with an illness of advanced lung cancer. Funds raised will go towards acupuncture treatments which have had remarkable results.
