Narrative by nature, my Art practice involves using symbols, colour and cultural experiences enhanced, but not solely attributed to, travel. For me, travel serves as a link to the 'collective' - a universal understanding of our dynamic and shared human experiences through cultural connection. At present I am collaborating with an Indian artist based in Rajasthan who is trained in the traditional miniature painting style. These collaborations on board and paper often utilise traditional Indian story telling with contemporary approaches, including the use of fluro hi-liter pens, glitter and collage.
