Anne Lord has produced visual artwork for over forty years and her artworks operate as metaphors for environment and change, including contemporary issues. An isolated region, 600 km inland in Northwest Queensland, initially home remains important for reflection, practice and research. This place called home and selected rural places provide inspiration through abstract elements that communicate the way things connect.

Artworks developed in conjunction with research of found figurative elements and metaphors for the change process, especially in the environment have been exhibited in a number of installations/exhibitions.
