Pneuma
Doggett Street Studio | 16 March - 5 April 2007
Allyson Reynolds was awarded a Royal Overseas League Visual Arts Travel Scholarship in 2006 which funded a residency at Hospitalfield House in the town of Arbroath, Scotland.
The ink on paper drawings arranged in seven groups and represented in this exhibition draw inspiration from Allyson's unique experience in Scotland. dowse, vapour, and pneuma were made whilst working in Patrick Allen Fraser's 'painting room' at Hospitalfield. The remainder of the drawings were completed in the artist's own studio after having returned to Australia.
A selection of these works will also be exhibited in London later in 2007 along side other works by 2006 recipients of Royal Overseas League Visual Arts Travel Scholarship.
