General information about purchasing

 

  • Paintings will be shipped rolled in a tube.  
  • Local collection available, in which case painting will be available stretched.
  • All shipping will be fully trackable.
  • All paintings were painted on a standard-sized stretcher frames, universally available and easily restretched by any picture framer.

 

Valuation Certificates

  • For insurance purposes, a valuation certificate can be provided for the full current retail price of the artwork.
  • Available upon request after purchase.

 

About re-stretching

  • We remove your painting from the stretcher and ship large paintings in a PVC tube and small paintings in a standard postal tube.
  • You will need to have it re-stretched.
  • All paintings have been painted on standard-sized stretcher bars which are universally available.
  • Re-stretching is a relatively simple task for any picture framer.  
  • This is a standard way to send paintings internationally and is probably the safest method of transport.  
  • Re-stretching in Australia costs approximately $50 to $200 depending on the size of the painting.

 

Prefer your painting shipped on it's stretcher ready to hang?

  • We can have a plywood crate made and ship your painting/s on its stretcher/s ready to hanging for an additional fee which covers the cost of making a plywood crate and the extra shipping charges.  
  • If you would prefer to have your painting shipped this way please contact us after purchase to arrange a quote and the additional cost will be charged separately.  
  • Multiple paintings can be shipped in a single crate therefore significantly reducing the shipping cost per item.
